This is my little tribute to Gardy-Loo! .
I been following this band now for over ten years now,And have many countless memories here are just a few.
This was the first show i saw it was funny cause it was at a skateing rink and the band was the headliner but i think they got the axe after awhile cause the crowd got to crazy or the place had to close or maybe the profanity haha!! i'm not sure.
Here's Ben and Richard at Washington Squre in Miami Beach one of a few times the band played there,had a few interesting parties after these shows.
This here was one of the best shows.It was my friend Jason's Birthday Party as i recall and there was kegs of beer and all kinda smoke.Was an outdoor show with a great crowd.Hails!!Jason this ones for you man.
The gig i set up in 1996 and don't think it was what it looks like.Ben asked me if i could find a place for the band to play so i did at this little redneck bar in Davie,Fla. and at the time,Duce was staying at his house,and i guess they had all the material from"Perverts on Parade"done by this time.So it was all lined up but about a week before the show Ben calls me and says Duce ain't coming and i said what do i tell them when the day comes,Just tell them he had to go up north and do The Springer Show,I said ok that will work.Well the day comes and were all hanging at my place getting primed up and we go over to the joint,as soon as i get there they tell me you have to sit at the door and collect all the tickets and i was like you gotta be kidding me,I said fuck that i ain't doing that.So from right there they had it out for us.The band got up on stage but the soundboard guy didn't know what the hell he was doing and then about half way through the set,they tell the band they only have like 5min left to play,thats when Ben goes off and says "I don't know what kinda place this is but were here to help the scene"So they just kept on playing until they pulled the plug.Here's what really sucks they only gave the band $20.00 bucks after the show i felt so bad.To this day me and Ben still laugh about the whole thing and i still wonder what it would of been like if El would of been there,maybe a riot would of came about.
